No Trips for 2020, Accepting 2021 Applications

With the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in the United States, we have decided that there is no way we can confidently conduct trips while keeping clients safe. We have flip-flopped several times throughout the summer on being able to operate or not. Unfortunately, this is our final decision for the year 2020. 

While we would love to run trips in the fall, patterns over the last few months suggest we would likely have to flip-flop once again if we announced another course. We have sent many mixed messages to potential clients and donors and would like to offer something concrete for the time being: 

Funding received this year will be used to complete our gear inventory to offer trips for up to 10 clients in the future. Applications will continue to be open, and those who qualify may attend trips during the summer of 2021 or whenever it is safe to do so. 

This is still a massive milestone for our organization. A complete inventory and groups of qualified applicants at the ready will assist our fundraising efforts, which helps us achieve our mission. At this time, I encourage our supporters to refer our application page to any individuals or groups that they feel would benefit from an Origin Course.
